Delivered through New Zealand Football and Northern Region Football, this course is designed for coaches working with junior players who want to build their confidence and improve their coaching knowledge.

The course focuses on creating engaging training sessions, supporting players to develop their technical skills and game understanding, and learning how to guide players through game-based activities.

This will be a practical course, with most of the learning taking place out on the field rather than in the classroom, giving coaches ideas they can take straight back to their teams.

Coaches working in youth football — here’s another great opportunity to continue your coaching development.Waitemata FC will be hosting the NZF Youth Level 2 Coaching Course on Wednesday 22nd April from 6:00pm–8:30pm at McLeod Park.

Delivered through New Zealand Football and Northern Region Football, the Youth Level 2 course is designed for coaches working with youth players aged roughly 13–19 years (typically U13–U17/U19 teams).

The course focuses on helping coaches better understand the needs of youth players and how to design age-appropriate training sessions that support their development. Coaches will explore how to structure practices, create game-realistic activities, and help players solve problems within the game.

This will be a practical course, with most of the learning taking place out on the field rather than in the classroom, giving coaches ideas they can immediately take back to their teams.
