COMMUNITY SENIOR MEN

Local footy, great people, and competitive game days!

Waitemata FC’s Community Senior Football programme is all about playing the game you love in a fun, welcoming, and competitive environment. Whether you’re chasing wins, staying fit, or just enjoying the banter with mates, there’s a place for everyone.

We compete across the full range of NRF men’s leagues (Division 3–10), giving players of all abilities a team that suits their level. We also have strong O35 and O45 squads for players who want to keep the boots on and stay involved in the beautiful game.

Our senior teams have an awesome mix of long-time club members, returning players, and new recruits — all connected by a love of football and the Waitemata community.

Training

Teams train once or twice a week, depending on the coach and level of competition. Sessions are relaxed but purposeful, with a big focus on fitness, ball movement, and teamwork.

Game Days

All community senior matches are played on Saturdays across the Northern Region. Home games are typically at McLeod Park, one of the best community football grounds in West Auckland.

Whether it’s a derby, a road trip, or a good scrap for points — game days are always packed with energy.
